The outer shell is molded from a resistant polycarbonate that is permanently fused to the EPS foam lining according to our molded manufacturing process to improve durability and aeration without excess volume.
• HARDBODY LOWER CASE WITH LOWER CASING HARDBODYTM — The two-part shell combines a rigid and robust outer shell with a lower shell made of fusionized polycarbonate permanently with the lining for more durability without excess weight.
• AERATION VIA "WIND TUNNEL" TECHNOLOGY — Giro helmets are developed using our exclusive Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active ventilations in the helmet shell and exhaust channels inside the helmet that propel fresh air over and around the cyclist's head while expelling heat and stale air outward.
